"Whats on her Mind"

Just faintly I can remember,

I can remember the smell of her neck,

The gloss on her lips,

and that seductive smile,

The way she looks excited when I come close,

and how sad she looks when she pulls away.

Time after time I wanted to open my mouth and ask her to stay,

just to let her know that she doesn't have to drive away.

So that she knows we both feel the same way,

and I can feel her heart and how it silently calls.

If we could ever break down these walls,

or allow our mouths to speak,

or just simply let our actions speak louder than words.

Maybe next time she won't need to go away,

maybe our mouths will say more,

or maybe this is just an illusion that plays in my mind,

maybe I dn't know how she feels at the time,

but maybe just maybe I know exactly whats on her mind.
